Where is the culture shock?
I get asked sometimes how I got along with the culture shock. My standard answer is: Culture shock? Sorry, I have not found that one yet. But I did not specifically look for it either.
Raclette Supper
On a rainy and cool evening, I opted for a raclette supper. (Almost) all the ingredients are available in Kenya.
Shopping Spree

Ndovu! Ndovu!
Am Sonntag Nachmittag hat sich die Wandergruppe zu einem kleinen Ausflug getroffen. Wir umgingen das Gelände der Thompson Falls und kletterten hinunter zum Fluss mit der Idee, ihm ein Stück zu folgen.
Twenty Years
Recently I was invited to a celebration for the 20th wedding anniversary of one of my office colleagues. We - that is two Comundo guests from Nairobi and me - went off.
Where is the water?
Recently I came home and the water was gone. My roommate had already noticed it and learned that it also affected the neighbours to the left and the right. The whole row of teacher's houses, including that of the headmaster, was on dry land.
