When the neighbours build a house for you

During 2018, St. Martin CSA started a new project aimed at people with mental health issues. In a pilot phase lasting 6 months, a team of social workers assesses in a defined area near Nyahururu the occurrence of mental health problems and examines whether the approach of St. Martin can be applied to tackle this topic: Giving immediate assistance before engaging the neighbourhood to care for the long term needs and find a sustainable solution that allows the afflicted persons to lead a dignified and fulfilled life.

Kyudo in Kenya

archery 2The Comundo people in Kenya and the respective partner organizations meet twice a year to discuss the country program, to learn together and to exchange ideas and experiences. Part of the event is also an excursion. This time we went to the Kereita Forest.
