Some resorts offer courses for their own guests and those from outside. My friends recently took me to one that offers salsa dancing lessons. I'm the first to arrive, but it is already too late for the regular six-to-seven lesson. Three-quarters of the two dozen or so dancers are Kenyan and good. After my friends arrive, it turns out that some of them come regularly and are already quite advanced. A teacher is quickly organised to teach me a few basic steps.
