When the neighbours build a house for you

During 2018, St. Martin CSA started a new project aimed at people with mental health issues. In a pilot phase lasting 6 months, a team of social workers assesses in a defined area near Nyahururu the occurrence of mental health problems and examines whether the approach of St. Martin can be applied to tackle this topic: Giving immediate assistance before engaging the neighbourhood to care for the long term needs and find a sustainable solution that allows the afflicted persons to lead a dignified and fulfilled life.

Kyudo in Kenya
